My light cavalry had an initial spectacular success, but then discovered that in these rules, flank attacks are not quite the ace they are in some other sets
For a set of rules that are only a few pages long and look simple in many respects, they have a number of minor complexities and nuances that I’m still not quite sure I’ve completely got my head around. But they certainly convery a great flavour of the period, and make for a pretty fast and brutal game, even with (what did we end up with in the end, Giles? About 250 points worth of troops per side, including leaders?)
