Dux Bellorum: Twighlight of Empire Battle Report Prologue
« on: September 16, 2020, 11:00:35 PM »
Dux Bellorum is a great, fast paced set of rules written by Daniel Mersey and published by Osprey Wargames that allows you to re-fight the Dark Ages in Britain from the Late Roman period up to the year 800 AD. Here is the prologue of a battle report between Late Romans and Early Saxons.

I quite like Dux Bellorum; it's a shame we don't see more of it.

Absolutely beautiful painting on those figures . I have the rules but haven’t played with them , yet . I’d be interested to see the rule mechanics in action . I’ll be watching this thread.

They are  :-*. Your mini's are very evocative of the Sub Roman era, which I love.

You know, I have A Glutter of Ravens and Dux Bellorum but have never played either..... one day. As soon as it is possible!  :)
