Khurasan adds seven new codes to 15mm Late 17th century range (AD)
« on: September 17, 2020, 08:02:38 PM »
Hi, we've just added seven new codes to our late 17th century range in 15mm, available here:

http://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/late-seventeeth-century.html

They are a mixed bunch, first four codes for militia such as the Monmouth rebels and American colonial militia for the King Phillips War period, then some regular infantry with flintlocks, and finally a set of high command for the Netherlands, Brandenburg, Sweden ... and Munster!

The codes are:

Militia marching with matchlocks
Militia with mixed polearms (mostly pikes but a rebuilt scythe and a pitchfork too)
American colonial militia shooting
American colonial militia marching
Flintlock musketeers marching
Flintlock musketeers standing
European high command

Two of the codes are shown here, flintlock musketeers standing and American colonial militia at the ready.

Good news! my army is 28mm, but your miniatures really tempted me! I read in facebook that Khurasan is going to release the Spanish army of late XVII c. too !

Lovely! If I wasn't already committed to 28mm I would be considering a shift in scale :)

I could see using these in a Dutch Colonial force with flintlock Regulars, matchlock militia, and interesting local allies!
Granted, exact details on the regulars might be a bit off, but when your depot is 10,000 miles away, compromises happen.

Good grief, I am continually impressed at the quality of painting you showcase for your minis.

My 15mm efforts so far have been abyssmal!  lol
Focused on 6mm pike and shot and 28mm Frostgrave
