Mongol invasion question
« on: September 20, 2020, 10:15:41 AM »
Looking at some mongol warriors suitable for the invasion of Japan (tsushima) are the fireforge steppe warriors suitable? I don’t want cavalry just troops on foot, also the Korean set for ronin from northstar would the armoured guys be okay for mongols?

You'd be better off with these mate  :)

Mostly cavalry (as to be expected I suppose) but there are some infantry options available.
cheers

Hi, you could always look at the 1st Corps ranges. They carry their own original range plus that acquired from Curteys Miniatures.  A bit long-in-the tooth and "caricatured" but from what I know certainly the right period ( ie  late13th century). They also have a nice contemporaneous Japanese range.

Regards.

Suitable? Yes. As nice as the TAG minis- probably not.

Anyone have a source for just heads? I've got a bunch of the Warlord samurai and ashigaru sprues and am looking for heads to match this figure:
