Been painting some German infantry

Two senior leaders and three junior leaders
And the nine riflemen  that make up some of the platoon

This is a picture of the six MG 34 teams, some serious fire power and a use for sll those prone figures I have never used before

Excellent work.

COC early war British v German is my designated project for 2021 so will be following this thread closely.

I looked at doing it in 20mm but as all my other gaming periods are in 25/28mm I decided to go with 25/28mm to save on terrain.
Wargamers do it on a table.

I have both scales and was looking at my 20 mm for Rapid fire early war when I caught the C0C bug

A friend recently gave me back some 30 odd AB WWII British that I had given him back in 1999 when I came back to the UK from Canada.
He had never taken them out of the box and they had sat in his basement for 21 years 🤔
They too were for Rapid Fire.

Are your light tanks 20mm or 28mm?

The tanks on this thread are 20 mm
The MKVI Tanks are from a company called cromwell models, lovely little resin models can't find them anymore

7th panzer division

Command section

Three section each made up of 2 X MG 34 teams
Just noticed the lack of grass on some of them
Now on to a british platoon and then some supports
Hopefully try the game soon

As you have defined which units you are using for the Germans, have you defined which area of combat you will be depicting in France/Belgium?

I started researching the early war battles but got distracted with some commission work.

Looking good. I have 1940 Germans (Black Tree & Warlord) and French (Crusader & Warlord), and I am seriously contemplating adding 1940 BEF (1st Corps) to the mix.

My only misgivings are that the basic squads aren't that different to the 1944 versions, so it could be a bit 'samey' with my 1944 versions.

The germans are totally different, early war against late war
No camo, Different colour of uniform, Different weapons and that is just the infantry!
