Battlegroup Faversham...
« on: October 01, 2020, 09:20:57 AM »
The Cold War's gone hot and BOAR is about to mount it's first counter attack on the Warsaw Pact's invaders.
Colonel Faversham of the Royals gives the order and Harry's Chieftains thunder into action!

:)
"Wot did you do in the war Grandad?"

"I was with Harry... At The Bridge!"

...Harry's Chieftains thunder into action!

:)

All of them?! None have broken down and are in the workshop being repaired?  That is a good start. I hope the Colonel's luck holds!

Lovely, but you'll need some spare power packs for the Chieftains, if the travel more than two miles.... :D

I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

What rules are you using?

A tickled up version of Neil Thomas's OHW WW2 rules to incorporate motorised Infantry. I have to apply the KISS Principle to our games these days, as my opponents are morons!

Harry's Chieftains thunder forward into battle, their meticulously maintained power packs, purring contentedly. Plan is for the armour to hook around the left flank while the Infantry and Artillery FOO hold the centre and right.
The superior fire discipline of the BAOR soon makes itself felt on Ivan...

The Warsaw Pact's military incompetence knows no bounds on the opposite flank as their traffic jam is a dream come true to Harry's FOO!!!
Both sides close and the fighting becomes fast paced, confusing and brutal...

:o
