I have the figures based and sabots for my own 1745 project. I intend to use the Too Fat Lardies 'Sharp Practice' rules. There are the unit rosters and campaign basis in the TFL 2017 special. For my Jacobites I have (so far!) 3 groups of 12 clansmen, two groups of 8 lowlanders, and an 8 man group of Royal Ecossais. I intend to expand this with a second group of Ecossais and mounted Bagot's Hussars.

For the government forces, so far, 6 groups of 8 line infantry, two groups of 8 grenadiers and a group of 8 dragoons.

Oh, and a castle..

Wargaming since the dark ages...

Love that, as mentionedmine are also for use with SharpPractice, postign an update shortly. I have a few buildigns and just ordered soemmore highland cottages from the US, I do fancy a Scottish tower myself, I was tempted to do the laser cut PeleTower I can see on Ebay then add some out walls and out buildings. Will look awesome as yours does, just questioning if I will get the return on investmentin game time.

I am trying to think of this time a 'preparation' time, for when we do get back to
face to face gaming.  So go ahead & build your scenery.

Nice castle by the way.

I am making steady progress, hope to have the majority complete by March when the next Kickstarter might be ready from Flags of War.

Next KS opens on November 16th, Roger. Iain announced it yesterday in his Facebook page.

https://www.facebook.com/flagsofwar

It will included Irish Picquets, Royal Ecossais reloading, Baggot's hussars, Jacobite artillery, Royal North British Fusiliers, British Grenadiers reloading, Hatmen at charging bayonets (I will need a few of those, damnit!) and Hatmen firing (kneeling) and as add-ons a couple of generals, 3pdrs and an officer of the Baggot's hussars. I think that stretch-goals include Royal Artillery, but not sure

I forgot about the dismounted dragoons! I have saved a bunch of money for this KS, and if finally there is a negotiated Brexit there will be no customs! Truth be told it was what worried me most: to spend money paying for taxes instead for more minis!  lol

Dont get me started, my Hudson and Allen cottages for this project have just cleared customs and now I have an invoice for 20% of the models cost to cover the taxes. Not impressed, just as well the building are lovely.
