BLOOD & VALOR RULES?
« on: October 29, 2020, 02:52:28 PM »
Firelock Games released these WWI skirmish rules just as the pandemic hit.  I've seen virtually no AARs or reviews of them.
Apparently, they share some mechanics with Blood & Plunder.

Has anyone out there played them?   If so, what do you think?
I like B&P's mechanics, and was thinking of doing some RCW
games.

Just seen this, as I don't visit very often. I bought a PDF of the rules and like the look of them, but I confess that I have been awaiting a hard copy before getting down to the business of playing them. These don't seem to have arrived in the UK yet. Similar in scope to Through the Mud and Blood and the Great War rules. The question is though how good they will be for solo play as that is my only option at present.

I really like Blood and Plunder but after watching some game play of Blood & Valor I dont think the system works well for WW1.
