I have this awful airbrush hose:
It is inflexible, way too short, and gets caught up on itself. Today was the last straw, when somehow I managed to pull my air compressor off the desk!
It took a four foot fall on to concrete, and amazingly, only broke one of holders of it's rubber feet, which I managed to glue back. But there was a lot of cursing and I'm fed up with it.
I also have this very nice cord that I would love to use.
However, the way it works is there are two parts to the socket and in order for the rubber bit to seal against the mail end, it needs to be able to fit wholly over the male end. This should be no problem, but the brass male socket widens at the base such that the hose doesn't fit far enough to make a seal.
Queue the sex jokes.
But seriously, how can I solve this? Is there an adapter I can get? Or if this hose won't work, can someone recommend one they think will work? I'm willing to get another one, but I just don't want to buy something that's going to behave the same. The problem seems to be the male socket not being standard or some such.
