Valhalla calling...
« on: November 25, 2020, 11:16:04 AM »
I've gleaned a big pile of them little round things with a rotating number in 'em to count hits. They look a bit daft parked up next to a nicely based rabble of Viking warriors. Does anyone make wounded or dead Viking/Saxons I can landscape them with, please?

???

I don't see why :?
Harry's not asking any members to sell him some,he's asking for a list of manufactures that sell wounded/dead minis :)
Harry,Gripping Beast have a set of Dark Age casualties in 28mm,they may be suitable? :)

I once remember seeing a Viking falling with an axe stuck in his melon, but can't remember who made him.

Thanks again chaps for all your help. I'm drawn to the Old Glory 'Slain Casualty Pack' as 20 figures will do all the casualty stands I'll ever need. Problem is, some Old Glory figures, are a bit crude by today's standard. Anyone had any experience with this particular set?
I'm hoping for the best, as you don't need very dynamic poses for a poor old dead bloke!

I've used them in the past. I'll try to dig out some old pics though they may well be on a kaput laptop  :'(

I have that pack - an excellent set, one of their best. Recommended.

Sounds good does that. I'll have to wait till Crimbo Day to find out, as I conned one of the kids to get 'em as a prezzie.

If you feel like spending big bucks on some more dramatic casualty counters, Footsore have an impaled berserker who's still on his feet and a "blood eagle" (although the latter may make a better bit of flavor terrain or objective than a casualty tracker).
