Aly, good to see your update. Beautiful model. I have the same kit but your finish puts mine to shame.  I can really recommend the A&A Palmyrans. The figures are getting on a bit and are a tad smaller than the latest sculpts, but are fine. At the moment A&A are doing a "buy 4 get 1 pack free" offer. 

I have bought an A&A 3rd century Roman  opponent for both the Palmyrans and my Sassanids. They are all based and primed, and will be my Christmas holiday painting project.  Thank god for LBMS shield transfers!

The villa is coming along steadily... I hope to get it finished over the Xmas break...
SJWi....I look forward to seeing how you get on with your Romans... and yes thank god for LBS transfers... I am not sure I would have even started this project without them ...
