California Gold Country High Sierra terrain

Recently returned from a camping outting to the foot hills / mts of the sierra in the gold country. I thought that those running games in that setting might like a few pictures of typical trees, brush etc.  Note that most all ground cover up there is at the 3500 foot level or higher. The "dirt" is mainly decomposed pine needles and assorted other plant matter.  Rocks are Very popular items   big rocks, near streams tangled brush abounds at the banks and on up.

Cedar and Pine trees are the most common up that high, there is a Definete difference at about 2000 or so feet where the Oak trees, mainly scrub oak, end and the pines and cedars begin. And there you have it.
