Flash and the sharkman
« on: March 26, 2007, 08:43:12 PM »
Two Mooks meet me these morning and they tell me I be in trubble if I don´t make a Fantastic World Game Report .
So I try my best to get a few of my pictures together to make a report.

The Game is play with Green K. but I only have pictures of the first Game   I hope that is enough to save my live  :D

Flash ,Prince Barin and Melody Anderson escape from the Underwater kingdom of The Sharkman with some importend data´s of a super weapon .
They must found 3 good concealment´s (the encounters) for the Data´s and the sharkman have to stop them.

We play the testversion of Rattraps Fantastic world Rules´.

The Table

Flash and Melody try to get some entcounters while Prince Barin is waiting for the sharkmen

Flash get a entcounter and is attack by a lizard

Melody is stuck in quicksand

and then the sharkmen arrive

things look bad for the Good Guy´s

Prince Barin hide in the shadow waiting to Attack the leader of the sharkmen

then the Swashbuckling Prince attack

and wow he is a killer !!!!ok the leader is only Unconscions

after that Flash and Melody  take hard damage from the Ray Guns of the sharkmen and yes Grade one´s are nasty !!

Prince Barin try to support Flash and Melody and attack the other sharkmen

He realy hack thru the sharkmen and Flash and Melody find the concealment´s  so the good Guy´s win
but not all Sharkmen die here the captain recover to return another day

so what can I say abaut the Game rules first they have there own flavor different to the ordinary  45 Adventure Rules with lots of scifi pulp stuff .
We hat a lot of fun as the Grade 1´s kick Fash`s butt with the Ray Guns and with the hand to hand combat of Prince Barin.
I am a little bit sad that I diden´t have pictures from the next Game were we use Robots because they are Inportend to Scifi pulp stuff.
But I will make a new game and I swear  I diden´t lost them anoter time

cheers Grimm
maby Green.K. have something to say now

I think that's a good down-payment. But I expect there is at least one Mook who will be keeping an eye on you.

Great write up. I'm looking forward to comments on the playtest group.

Good to hear the 'Rattrap Evil Empire:German Division' came through for us. You don't know how many times you order mooks and they never show up...   :D

Beautiful game. Look like a lot of fun. I got a big laugh out of the quicksand.

Great report! I'm a bit worried about ray guns in FW now. They sound very nasty. And I do like your quicksand. It's an extremely clever way to model it!

And I know what you mean about the mooks.

Great looking game. I'm really looking forward to Fantastic Worlds. I started painting my Captain Gamma last night in anticipation.

thanks for the nice comments.

The quicksand is a template i made years ago for chronopia and
i had spare zombieparts from GW so  glued this hand on as a joke.

The games were fluent and fun to play, Prince Barin was a
bit hard, but its ok since he is mongos best swordfighter so my
bad guys should better not get into sword range next time.

Next time i hope to have the Falconmen from WSD  :D

@grimm
Melody Anderson is the name of the actor in the movie , it is
Dale Arden in our FG Sessions.

If Prince Barin was based on the 'Swashbuckling Prince' archetype, it's proving to be one of the most formidable in the book. Best shoot him next time.
