Indeed! 'The Strictest School in the World' was released this month in N. America; Here's the publisher's page --

It's a Victorian fantasy story, with lots of flying machines, mad inventions and evil teachers. I know that Amazon Deutschland have it among their English language books.

Huh! That link takes you to the publisher's home page. Go to 'new books' and  then 'grades 4-6' (the book is aimed at smart 9 year olds and up). There's a link on the page that lets you read the first chapter -- H

That chapter sounded interesting and the illustrations are great.

Guess its the right book for me and in a few years maybe exciting for my daughter  :)
