about the 1/72nd scale AT/AA Bunker by Italeri (kit No. 6091)

The kit is BIG (82mm tall, 175mm wide and 164mm deep).

i think that's the one in a game with 20mm figures :)

I've also seen the Italeri Italian farmhouse used in 28mm Nap games.
It does make you wonder what other 1/72 buildings would look OK with 28mm figs.
There was that Boxer Rebellion game (posted on this forum) which used a lot of 1/72 buildings.

I have the Italeri Country Houses, church and their bridge. The first three work really well with 28mm. The later is enormous in any scale. It's a huge bit of plastic and frankly I'm not sure what to do with mine.  The Country Houses are amazingly useful bits of kit, they convert well and the one with the porch, rendered with plaster is almost a dead ringer for the barracks of the Fort Monte Serrat in Salvador, which is a wonderful bonus for me. :D

As they have removable roofs, it's even easier to get more value from the one model by simply replacing the roof with some apprpriate roofing material from Wills or one of the other plasticard/ accessories manufacturers.

Other nominally 1/72/ HO and 20mm kit that I have found works well with 28mm are DAPOL, when suitably based. I like the smaller footprint and again they have great conversion possibilities. Likewise the Scenix plaster railway buildings work well for me. The Scenix stuff that is designed for 28mm I find just too large.

Oh and the Berlin House is a wonderful model. I just don't know when and where I will ever find room to put in on the table. It looks more Italian to me than German.

made from italians to italians... I knew the guys who bought the original moulds, for making photos for a manual... then, they told me, Italieri bought this mould from them for almost nothing, with some trick... that's why I have bad thoughts with this model....

btw it is really really well done!!!

Could you also include 20mm and 15mm figures in the picture ?

I like the Berlin House alright, but some features in it bug me, like the door that's not positioned in the middle of the facade, the fact that there are windows on all four walls, and so on. So my solution is to modify it a little. This is on the backburner right now, but I will complete it some day, and while I am at re-do the interior walls too:

So basically, I cut the side walls (the ones with no door) into bits that fit on the left side of the door facade. I will then make the end walls out of foam board or similar, there will be no windows there, so I can place houses back to back there.

I also fill some of the worst holes and recesses inside

Finally a shot of the faced with a Gamecraft town house for comparison. For some of you, this will be old stuff, but I thought these might provide some ideas for conversion?

What scale are the figures in the picture.
If 20mm how does the Gamecraft house size up to 28 mm.
Looking at the Gamecraft site, their buildings look a lot cheaper than the Italeri one ???
