I finally got to photograph the steam walker for my VSF Japanese army:



Its based on a 1/24 scale 'Sakura Wars' anime plastic kit:

I think I´ve got exactly the same Koubo-Kai model, and I actually painted it in a mauve tone which is almost identical to yours! Talk about coincidence!

Its actually painted grey (Citadel codex grey, highlighted with  mix of codex grey and fortress grey) - its just the bad light that makes it looks a shade of mauve!
