Did time as a forklift operator for many years and saw a great variety of forklifts, but nearly every older one has the same configuration, 4 wheels, boom and mast lifters, etc. Older would be a bit bigger than newer. Forklifts could and do have exstension forks for larger / lighter loads and specialized "fork" addons for picking up long pipes by running a single lift bar thru the pipe, or roll of carpet etc. Tires are dictated by surface, dockside with un even ground and planking, figure on inflated tires rather than hard rubber (which would appear as half the thickness of inflated). Also older period forklifts would vary in color from the more standardized international yellow that most modern ones are done up in.
Hope that helps a bit.
