15mm artillery, Gaslight and VSF - HELP!

Can anyone help me? I want to collect 15mm brittish for skirmish battles (1 unit on 1 round base). But my question about artillery. Does GASLIGHT or VSF Rules allow artillery, crew and limber as SEPARATE units. I mean cannon - 1 base, and 4 crew, each on separate bases. If yes, can I use sniper for killing these crewmans?

In Gaslight, artillery pieces and crew are treated as one unit. If you target the artillery and hit, you roll to see if you hit the crew or the gun. I usually say the crew is in light cover (the gun).

If you want to have a sniper then it is probably a character rather than an extra and they can target specific units or other characters anyway.

So I can have crew on separate bases, but for game purpose they and the gun are single unit?
And by the way, does Old Glory 15mm range Colonial have only 1 pose for infantry (For example Brits) or many poses?

Yes, separate crew and gun is fine. I don't know about Old Glory 15mm range. I play Gaslight in 28mm.

Hi Fjodin,

I dabble in 15mm VSF, it's one of the darker sides of the dark side. I've based my crews with the guns just for convenience sake. Theres' some pics here:

Usually Old Glory 15mm figs do come in separate poses, the U.S Marines and Germans in the above gallery are all Old Glory.
