Everyone is painting pirates! :

Recently painted my 6 artizan pirates. I regreted buying only 6 and not the full 9...

Also did up my flagship sloop I got ages ago.

Great job with the sail plan on the sloop! I like the Artizan pirates, too. I need to pick up them some time.

That Flagship Games Sloop is a nice model. It looks like there is plenty of room on the deck for figures to stand.

I have the Dixon miniatures sloop which is lovely but sadly no longer available

@Malamute: ah... you lucky devil! I saw a picture of that sloop online years ago. Its beautiful. Shame its no longer available :cry:

@Dom: Actually, a lot of the work was done with spray paints. I sprayed it black, the sprayed it dark brown, then light brown. Then I went over it with the dry brush. It was just a cheap big hog bristle brush. You know the cheap made in china ones?

Superb :love: I wasn't too sure about the Artizan pirates when I saw them in the bare metal, now I'm convinced.

Yup, the artizan pirates are really lovely, full of character. I got shit loads of foundry pirates as well. Bought way more than I need 2 christmas ago.... Got some eureka and dixon ones too. I'll never finish painting my pirates...
