Foundry 2000AD Johnny Alpha
« on: October 30, 2009, 10:23:12 PM »
Heres what has been fueling my thread on 2000AD wargaming, my first Foundry 2000AD mini. Hes not Rogue Trooper but hes still pretty cool! Got loads of these from their xmas sale, £3 per mini is more desirable than £5 a mini so stocked up.

Anyway, here he is Johnny Alpha - Thanks for looking

Superb work on the yellow (always terribly tricky to paint), and those "soulless" eyes are particularly well done, too.

Never mind the yellow - the shading on the green pants is top-notch. A beautiful piece of work RJ.

Beautiful - excellent shading, and I'll echo everybody else here and say that the yellow is really nicely done *and the green...).

What other 2000AD minis are there on the painting horizon?

Love it!  ;D

Going off on a tangent, I wonder if it would be possible to pull of an Carlos Ezquerra style dotted black line finish?

Strontium Dog is one of my fave 2000AD stories and you've done a fantastic job on your figure.  I agree about the yellow - damned tricky to pull off successfully, but you've managed it. I can't wait to see the rest!

I just wish these figures were not so expensive or I'd get the whole set.
