Is it me or do those Russians look awfully well-fed? Donīt get me wrong, the level of detail looks excellent, but they rather look like American re-enactors playing Russian soldiers rather than Russian soldiers playing... er, you know, actual Russian soldiers.

I think these are bloomin' marvellous figures. Maybe a little over-padded, but in detail terms, surely a cut above most of what's on the market.
Who's the sculptor?

They're certainly... burly. They look like they really mean business, and the automatic grenade launcher is especially cool.

Very cool, I may have to pick up a pack of these when they're released to see how they match up with all the Mongrel and TAG stuff I've got.

From the website

"One last word about our talented sculptor, Sergey Traviansky-Menelaev (Menelay). He live in St-Petersburg, Russia, and his, until now, mostly  renowed for is work 1/35th scale. You are seeing here is first foray in the 28mm world"
