According to "italian tradition": "comunist people was used to eat childrens"

According to an humoristic italian book from end of '80s: "something was changing in USSR ... children have seen eating communist people"

20 years ago the Berlin Wall collapsed of now children are growin up people :(

I received my 1st figures today from RED STAR MINIATURES
They are really well sculpted , beautifully so, have good poses and are generally great
I do however have one complaint
They are slender very slender
They are 28mm but compared to most 28mm figs i have they look like teenagers.
If anything the heads and hands are closer to GZG 25mm figs
here are a couple of  (poor)pics to show what i mean. Also remember the Red Star are in winter gear so they have been bulked out so to speak

From left to right GZG TAG and 3 REDSTAR

They'd look pretty good with Brooks, Eureka and Mongrel moderns methinks…

Or with some of the Brigade Games stuff I have (-if they did moderns). 'True 28mm'.
If you don't believe in lead, you're already dead.

I've had mine for a week or so and am still very impressed indeed! The proportions are very good and the sculpting is excellent - realistic and characterful (a tricky combination).

I'm pretty much commitied to everything that Red Star release now  :D

I couldnt knock their sculpting  its fantastic but sadly they will stick out compared to all my other modern figures, which is a shame.

I think you're right the Red Star are True 28mm just as the GZG are true 25mm
sadly i dont have any other true 28mm just heroic 28mm, but thats life

Well that's sold me. They look like they will be a good match for Eureka, my favourite manufacturer.

Really nice sculpts. Hopefully they might be convinced to do some chaps in summer kit as well.
