You know you want to...

I can find the ideal place for them - Dr Who and the Daemons! There's even a scenario in Graeme Dawson's "Dr Who Miniatures Game" where they could be used.

Just to jog a few memories - it's the scene where the Master has got all the villagers on his side and they are out to capture the Doctor by the Maypole lol

Absolutely perfect for that scene, but I don't know if I could ever justify buying the figures  :(

They would make excellent stormtroopers, as you'd run a mile if they where advancing towards you shouting 'Hey nonny nonny!' and their cavalry looks quite hard as well. lol

I'm betting we'll see these in PM's Zombie Hunter thread soon enough.

The more I think about it the more these might make good panic markers.

I was told as a kid that they wore bells so that blind people could take the p**s too!

One of the few permanent maypoles left is only a couple of miles from here - stay well clear on May day.

Perfect for creepy Cthulhu-esque village goings on. Am very amused that the reaction to these figures generally seem to be 'they're weird, yet I feel strangely compelled to buy them...'. Brilliant!

OK, I will admit it.  I am stumped.  What is a Morris dancer?

You get some slightly less traditional ones which include girls too :

I saw this group in Scarborough last summer and they were..... interesting.

The blue face paint and shimmery balck costume is distinctive.
