That is insanely good! Well put together and nicely painted!
Just out of curiosity what manufacturer do the minis come from?

Clearly from an age when man was an endangered species, not Panda...   lol

Super!

Thanks all  :D. Never know what kind of reaction you are going to get from something that is a "little" off the wall like this ;D

The figures are indeed Foundry Imperial Chinese which answers the other question of scale, it is 28mm. The panda is from a company called Safari who seem to be a competitor of Schleich. I do have the Schleich panda, which is actually a much nicer model,  but this one is a bit bigger and worked better for this idea. The base is an old cd so approx. 120mm diameter and the flag is one from TVAG that I shaded with acrylics to tart it up a bit.

Thanks again, I now have the inspiration to do something else  ;)

Ah now I see. Some where there are Chinese scientists in the hinterlands working with genetic manipulation.

Apparently Panda's are reluctant to mate with other Pandas. However, they think elephants are dead sexy.  ;)

Mind blowing. I love the look on the panda's face especially. It looks like it's just wandering around happily looking for some giant bamboo, only vaguely aware of the machine gunners on its back.

:-* Real nice and really cool
… but I think that the Machine Gun look a little "out of place" (not Asian enough maybe?) :?

Well, the real Chinese used Krupp guns, so it's not so far out. Personally I love it and am very tempted to try a Zulu version mounted on a giant armoured elephant.

Great stuff, as ever, Svennn!

Now there's a conversion project  lol
