Grekwoods Doctor Who Miniatures
« on: November 30, 2009, 09:49:16 AM »
Thought i'd start a thread to post my finished Doctor who miniatures in  :)

i'm currently painting a whole load of Daleks..72 of them :/ so far i've finished 34...... here's a quick picture of my finished who stuff so far..... i take proper photos and add them here when i've finished painting stuff.

the paintings not great, just a quick tabletop job, hoping to finish the daleks by christmas for a planned doctor who game set in the town of Grekton in the Grekworld universe  :). We (my Dad and I) are currently making a whole town to fit on our small 4'x4' table.  :'(

still have to paint about 40 daleks 6 doctors 6 masters, a few sontarans and a guy in a chair called dave ross ;)

oh and half a douzen cyberman and judoon  :?

Like those Sontarans - reworked Hasslefree Grymm, right? They work really well.

Who's the kid in the parka in the middle of all the Doctors?

it was part of a diorama i did on the Forum of doom, but i've now deconstructed it into a gaming console room, i'll have to get it out and takes some more pictures  :)

in the new year i plan on trying to tweak and recast the console and supports, there are a few minor issues with the ones i made for this console room  ;)

there is a sort of work in progress video here http://www.youtube.com/user/grekwood#p/a/u/0/kApk3768gnM

and the finished pictures/story thread here http://forum-of-doom.com/index.php?topic=12025.0

and a few pics ....  ;) will take more soon

Grek, is that a BANANA I see there?  Some things never change, sigh.  ;D

Always great to see your awesome work and creativity. Thanks for bringing it.
I really should get back over to the FOD more oftener.

Great stuff, but you need to be a bit more ambitious and buy some more Daleks!

You have far too few at the moment.....

...says he with only 12 of the buggers.

 lol  lol

Lovely to see more Dr Who stuff posted. I agree the Grymn look pretty good as Sontarans from what I can see. Could you post some more pics of them please, as they could be just the answer to a big hole in my collection.

As far as I'm concerned we can't have too much Dr Who :)

Spot-on, thanks very much. I don't care much for the BTD Sontarans - possibly some of their worst sculpts for me.

I just need to practice sculpting potatoes out of green stuff before I get some to convert for myself :D
