Pound Stretcher in Gloucester has the 3 1/13 Revell dinosaurs and a mammoth at £4.99 each.......

Why not look at the local toy store? I bought a pretty decent branchiosaurus (or was it apatosaurus) while looking for Jr.'s Christmas present for only 9 euros. It's big, quite well-constructed, decently detailed and despite the size, cheap. I'm currently building a howdah for it (to mount HaT 20mm Nubians as bow-wielding savages) and it's sized perfectly for 20-28mms. Now, all that's left is to find a ruleset to use it with   :-[

I couldn't find any, which comes as no surprise  ::) To make things worse, my wife stumbled on some by accident - same prices - and bought them for Gluteus Junior's Christmas present  >:(

Happily, she is going to get me a couple of mammoths this weekend. I have a cunning plan which needs some really BIG mammoths as a basis ;)

Is it as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning?  ;)

Does it involve building some kind of mobile fortress carried by two or more Mammoths?

Can't say too much, or I'd have to have you shot, old boy!

You're not too far off, though  ;)

My local branch has the Allosaurus and the Pterodactyl in, but to be honest neither of them really grabbed me. I've already got a lead mountain to work on, a mountain of plastic dinosaurs is just going to daunt me.
