They are talking about the prisoner, an old British TV series?
Never seen it myself so I don’t know what they are talking about either?

In The Prisoner the main character was kept in an artificial location.  If he left it he was chased by huge weird white balloon/ball things, as shown above.  They inevitably caught him too I think.

And if you're clever, you can also find the complete Danger Man on DVD which was, of course, The Prisoner's predecessor.

You never quite knew if Patrick McGoohan was playing the same character.

The James Bond collection Mini Moke seems to be cheap and plentiful on eBay. I think it's 1:43.

Never even knew about that one - thanks!

For the mystified:
[wiki]The Prisoner[/wiki] was a British TV series aired in 1967 and 1968 (I believe), and an almost-instant classic. The main character, played by Patrick McGoohan (who died early this year) was an agent who resigned and as a consequence was taken to The Village; the episodes in the series detail his experiences in trying to escape, and in Number 2 (second to the unseen Number 1) trying to get him to reveal why he resigned in the first place. The character is, incidentally, referred to as Number 6.
The balloon thingy is Rover, a sentry which when needed patrols the Village and prevents people from escaping. It's never revealed quite what Rover (capably played by a meteorological balloon!) actually is, although it appears to have some form of intelligence.
All very surreal and fun too.

Is there a No.6 anywhere in either of the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang ranges? There bloody well ought to be.

A very late 60s plot...

Watched it when I was at school (repeats, I'm not that old) and quite enjoyed it, there were a couple of us who watched it and then tried to figure out what the hell was going on at school the next day.

I really liked the last episode though  :D

cheers
