Exactly not the most challenging of gaming pieces.  :D

The village is up in North Wales right near to where I went to Uni.

WHO IS NUMBER ONE!!

:D
Ah well, if you know about The Prisoner, it's easy I guess.....

Number 1 is Plynkes, of course.

I was a big fan of Danger Man which I watched first time round ( I AM that old). I even smoked the same thin cigars as the character (well, I was at an impressionable age  ;).

Recently I've gotten in the habit of saying "Be seeing you" to my close aquaintences.  While I was recouping from a back injury for the last two months I caught the whole series on AMC.  Tried watching their new version of the Prisioner, it was pretty much rubbish.

Really? I have not seen anything of the remake - what's the setting?

Meanwhile:
I was thinking of tackling this as a project.
Rover was originally a Christmas decoration (I think!) which had ended up as a cat toy and then became a source of inspiration - I couldn't help thinking of it as Rover. And my model was born.
Would be a good idea to make a small set of Prisoner (original series models - but here's that catch - no, catches:
1) I do not have any suitable models
2) I am trying to cut costs as we are trying to purchase a new house
3) due to storage problems I am trying not to buy any more models - at least not before we manage to get a new place, and one which includes more storage.
4) For the same reason, I'd never have anywhere to place a model of even a small fragment of Portmerion (the Village)

So my only remaining choice is to use any models I already own. Trouble is I have very few models who fit in: I would instantly eliminate any SF (or at least, baroque SF) and most fantasy, and any alien or non-human. No huge weapons (in fact, as few weapons as possible) and? Any ideas?

SO far my only candidates (besides Rover, who is my favourite in the series anyway; and the Mini Moke which I might buy anyhow) are:

a Maltese bus
a Limo
a few English Civil War (the real one) troops (anachronistic denizens of the Village or just fancy dress types)
a Necromunda model conversion (a very restrained one, this)
a Pinkerton agent or two
an ancient German casualty playing the part of a castaway sort of chap or tramp

Any other ideas?
And if I do manage to paint more than 3 models - what sort of skirmish could be played using these? Getting The Prisoner free, I suppose, and using the others to stop him or help him - again emphasizing minimal use of weapons as they want him alive.

Isn't that usually the case with re-makes  >:(

"We want information and by hook or by crook we shall have it!"

"Who are you?"

"The new No. 2."

"Who is No. 1?"

"You are No. 6!"

"I am not a number - I am a free man!"

Sad Geek and proud of it   lol

Cool idea...how will the game work? I thought about this a long time ago but couldn't make it 'feel' right. Too cerebral...not enough killing. Love the big white ball and hope to see more. Will you make a 'village'? Don't forget the parasols...
