I'm game.

I'll buy my way out of Flux with an Aetheric Modulator, and as I threw an 8b on my infinite-sided die, I'll move my Prussische Dampfbetriebene Luftzeug to the Brighton Pavillion (don'tcha know, what?)

That should put the leopard among the flamingos.

Damn, you sank my dirigible.

Egads! Flanked! it seems all I can do now is fix mechanical bayonets to my Fotherington and Tyrrell Automaton-Fighting-Suits and  go down fighting!

Yes!  I knew someone would fall for that. I built a hotel there 2 moves ago (using a Klingon cloaking device). As a result you owe me 2,000 bars of cold pressed latinum and must go to jail immediately.

Oh and naturally your polarity is permanently reversed.

Now wait a second, I'm not sure this is allowed. We'll have to check the rulebook.

@Bezzo; In fact, I was more concerned about the ‘Klingon Cloaking Device’. I think you’ll find that section 8 on page 94 of the rulebook (volume 3, of course) clearly states that the use of non-earthly Ether machines to directly affect the flow of the game is strictly forbidden, except on Thursdays, where they can be used between the hours of 4 and 8.

Mornington Creasent
Well, you've got us there. I think we have a winner.

Also, Terranef. How many points does that get me?

I'm with Svennn on this one. I think I'll don my smoking jacket, pour a large brandy and sit back and watch.

That's after I've been to Hartlepool to buy some exploding trousers.

Are you using any triple word squares?
'fraid not. It's got a steam powered Tesla cannon though, if that's worth anything. Oh, and it's Captain is called Curruthers.
*rolls a die*
I got an 8! What does that equate to?

Astounding quality. I shall brew a nice cup of Dai Hong Po for each of you when you return from whence the aether has you suspended.

It's from an old radio show called 'I'm sorry, I haven't a clue' And they played this daft travel game at the end that had no rules but someone always eneded up with Mornington Cresent at the end and won  ???

Looking at the 1995 edition, appendix 4/c it means you have to travel to Mars and uncover the secret of everlasting life...

Good luck with that (I'd of rolled a 5 if I were you  ;) )

cheers

Dangblastit, man!  They still make that radio show!  I'm not that old yet! lol

Now that the game has concluded - who can recommend me a rivet that can handle an aetheric shear of at least 2000 Lorentz-Pascals?
