Tons 'o' Celts...
« on: December 15, 2009, 02:29:30 PM »
I just swapped a guy and got a huge box of Renegade Celts...gotta be at least 200 models...6 charriots...lots of stuff. Some really great sculpts and I plan on using some of the troops to support my Foundry Slaine model. Been looking thru Warhammer Ancients but it looks like I'll be painting for a while before that becomes an option...anyone recomend any good 'ancient skirmish' type games? Also, what was the deal with 'Celtos'...I seem to recall they had some good looking models but how was the game? Any help/ideas greatly appreciated...looks like this will be my one new project this year...(so far...)

There's a variant on LOTR for Celts and Romans on the LOTR Variants Yahoo group and a variant for same for Song of Blades and Heroes  on the SBH Yahoo group. You'll need copies of the original rulebooks, although at least in the case of LOTR any of the old rulebooks that you can pick up cheap on Ebay will suffice.
Waiter, my soup is giggling.
