I remember those! You think your 3D stuff might ever come back to the shop, Dave?
I know he's done with 3d printing for a bit but I wish he'd get some of it cast in metal. He has a bunch of cool pieces. I don't think he's even shown anyone the awesome piano he made.

I hope so. In the meantime, I added a bunch of my designs to the Shapeways catalog if there's something specific you're looking for.

Here're a couple more photos of some recent projects. Both of these buildings were made by Black Site Studio ---

Here's a couple photos of "Samuel's Garage" by 4Ground. Great kit! Excellent scale and lots of fun details...

People ask me where I obtained the retro skimmers fairly often, I suspect they would sell well.

Very cool buildings!

THANKS, guys. Glad you liked it. I've been very impressed with the 4Ground stuff so far, but it can be a bit of a challenge finding it in the US. There are several buildings I'd probably get if I could find them.

Looks great!
Where's it from? Asking for a friend  ;)
Although I'm guessing it's probably scratch build with some 3d printed parts?

You are 100% correct. The boat was scratch-built and the wheelhouse was 3d printed. And I use that same wheelhouse on a couple different boats, so it is removable.

So let's see these skimmers then.

I glued this stone dock together yesterday and painted it today. It is made from blocks from a Hirst Arts molds. I tried to give the wall a bit of an irregular appearance.

I would add a little green slime wash along the bottom third or so, but it otherwise looks perfect!
