Oh,

Why does Mr Copplestone keep on doing this to me?

I've already given him a small fortune this month (well, a sizeable chunk of my monthly hobby budget anyway.)

And now I want these as well!!

Damn, damn, damn!

One thig though.......while they are all truly nice figures and the sailors are something different...I wish he'd thought a little more about the cossacks. Yeah, the standard bearers are nice, and useful, but, even though I've already got a unit of cossacks I don't think I'll ever get enough to warrant four standard bearers.
Maybe an old-fashioned command pack may have been a more user-friendly option.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Squint.

You could make them Lancers...
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

I wish he'd make some British Sailors like that for the Great War period. When I need shore parties I shall be using his Victorian ones, but it irks me that they aren't quite right (though I'm too lazy and inept to convert them).

Apparently he's got a command pack for the naval infantry on the way too. I'd also like to see a naval gun crew and gun, perhaps the existing Putilov.

It would be nice to have some general naval crew figures too for launches and armoured trains, which were often crewed by naval troops in the RCW (I guess it makes sense if you think about it?).

Maybe one day he'll get around to the Japanese as well?

Some Freikorps to face off against the Reds in Latvia would be nice (just a thought - I'm a big fan of Mr. Copplestone's work and his German Advisors will be serving in my Great War German - Freikorps force).
