Khosindan forces on Atlantis
« on: January 17, 2010, 09:26:10 PM »
The Caliph's forces in Atlantis, so far, . . .

Rudi von Bismark (centre) together with his staff - all of whom are Prussian officers currently on extended leave.

Two units of badmashes, irregular musket armed troops

Artillery

A pair of scouts recruited from one of Khosinda's jungle tribes

Mustapha Ham-Ah and his whirling dervish automatons

and a steam walker from the Caliph's workshop (rumour has it that this was designed by R. McDonald, a Scottish engineer in the employ of the Caliph)

More to be added as they enter service  . . .

Love how the army looks. I have a bunch of the Mage Knight figs that you've been using, as well. Fun models.

Excellent work there Dr De'Ath... there is no 'applause' emoticon or I'd be using it right now.

I love what you've done to Mr Macdonald's walker there... the cunning addition of a cap from a bottle of water and the lid of a pen (unless I miss my guess) make it both much more sinister and more 'worky' (as we orcs say).

The minis look great close up too. Top notch work.

Of course, if the 'two' forum menbers from Shropshire wanted a VSF vehicle made from a bottle cap and a pen they would have bought theirs from Scheltrum rather than scratch building  lol

Great looking group. Those nasty colonial powers need more to contend with than a bunch of spear chucking primatives. I really like the walker. I have one of those toys, still wondering what I am going to do with it.

How in the nine hells did you remove the bobble from the top of the wind-up walker? I've had no luck and I don't want to break it :(

Great looking army, very unusual!
