WW1 ANZACs for Great War
« on: January 18, 2010, 01:24:18 AM »
Because I never do things in halves, here are the ANZACs to fight my Turks

Thought I'd share what I have completed so far.  I do so love painting gray-back shirts.

Entire ANZAC force (so far)

Light Horse troopers

Lewis gun team

Clear the battlefield and let me see
All the profit from our victory.

Very nice, these are Brigade Games figures right?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Necro... what dug this up from January?  Every oohed & aaahed about the Turks, but ignored the Anzacs.  Good things come eventually I guess.

anyway, yes these are mostly Brigade.  I have since started on Woodbines as well.

Did I show you my new conversions:

stokes mortar

rifle grenades

did I mention the Indian Mountain Battery:

The Anzac were supported by the Indian gunners at Gallipoli and in Palestine.  It seemed proper to paint them up.  Still have 12 pack mules to paint.

The whole lot of them look great.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Very nice work.

Very Lucky Anzacs indeed to have received 3" Stokes mortars and Lewis guns in time for Gallipoli. ;)
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo
