Russian Super Heavy Mecha
« on: January 24, 2010, 02:41:00 PM »
After a really long break from painting I thought it was about time I started on my Russians for WWW2 ( got the Infantry LAST Xmas!!!)
The mech is from AT43 Red Blok box set.
I think the weapons on this Mech are a little OTT ( the mortar's OK but I think the RailGun is a little big!) and it has no close support weapons, but I quite like it.

I also painted this one from the same set

Bourgeois testicles of Dogspodin Barkski!  :o

That is certainly the best of your Russians so far. I think the guns look okay, one anti-tank cannon on the right shoulder, and a howitzer on the left. Nicely balanced.  lol

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful paintjob.  However, your camoflaging has been too succesful and it needs something to make it "pop" from the base.

Thank you all for the comments!!

Its nice to get back into painting after such a long break. Unfortunately such a long spell away from the hobby means that I've got a HUGE back-log of unpainted minis.........

Tri3: I did a short tutorial ages ago. I hope you find it of some use.
