Already got the command packs so I can use the officers as 1850s explorers of Somalia. Love the sculpts, they really are nice: But there's something odd about the airpipe helmet guy's right hand when you see him in the flesh as it were. The way he's posed he really looks like he ought to be holding something in it. Just looks odd. It's a very minor thing, but I feel compelled to do some kind of conversion to fix it. Either put something in the hand or give him a new hand entirely - one that isn't behaving oddly.

He does look like he should be holding a revolver or sandwich etc. Easily fixed, though

I hope to pick up the command packs at York. The airpipe officer is by far my favourite but I have no use for the chaps in pugris if anybody wants to trade?

Ha, I'm in the same boat. Bought 8 figures and only plan to use two of them.  :)

The artillery crews look like they were sculpted by the same person that did the Scarab Miniatures WWI range. I like them!
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

I think they look like Rob Baker too. I like them but hope this is not the end of Mike Owen sculpts for this range.

Mike will still scuplt the vast majority of the range, due to time constraints I used another sculpter for the artillery to get things moving on the range, The cavalry horses are nearly complete  9 poses with regular and irregular saddlery, when they are done it's not to difficult to create the dollies for the cavalry range.

So things are beginning to get back on track, the longer term plan is after the schedule highlighted above we will do highlanders and naval brigade and cavalry

No rush for Highlanders and Naval parties as that will probably be when it gets expensive for me - not as expensive as if you were to do packs in airpipes though ;D

Looks to be an interesting line. However, I am really not happy to hear of a switch in designers and styles so earlier on. It could all workout but experience tells me that it often doesn't. That said, I wish Mutineer Miniatures the best of luck...as the figures thus far are nice sculpts and the period offers a lot of interest. :D

just to clarify things there is no switch in designer. Mike Owen will be the scuplter for the vast majority of this range  with over 80 infantry figs,  27 cav,  6 guns 4 crew types elephants civilians and personalities, planned at the moment It would take one sculpter a very long time to complete the range, To achieve a balance of getting this project completed against style we have decided to use more than one sculpter on specific parts of the range in the main artillery.   We have another large project that will start around the summer so we need to complete this one before getting into anything else and it would be a very big ask to have Mike finish all the Mutiny stuff on his own before then.
