Very nice Michi, I much prefer these to the saber tooth, very nice shading around the belly and legs.

Both paintjobs are great.
I really like the 2nd model as a realistic bear, the first one feels a lot more like some kind of were-bear/ursan type thing to me, though could be good for make a dancing bear, bears don't often naturally rear up on 2 legs if I remember right.

Bears can and do rise up on their hind legs, usually to get a better view of things or as a threat posture. When they do so while fighting it is not to swipe at things but rather to lunge forward using their bulk as a weapon.

I don´t remember. Both are from my lead pile and were probably bought years ago. I remember that the huge one was sold as "dire bear", reaper most likely.
