Tougher trees
« on: May 15, 2007, 01:20:08 PM »
I've been working on some tough trees that can handel transport.  This is a test subject.  The tree trunk is made from pipe cleaners which I have seen done before on various terrain pages.  The foliage is from an auto sponge torn up into largish clumps and painted green.

And here's the sponge I used.

Great job on the trees. I have a tub full of pipe-cleaner trees. One thing I learned for storage is to not attach the foliage so that I can old the branches down and fit more in the plastic container.
