More of the usual nonsense:
http://misterplynkes.blogspot.com/2007/05/tipperary-mbali-sana-sana.html

Teasers:

This one contains the largest cast of Lead Adventurers yet. As he has had a starring role in two previous adventures, Grimm sits this one out on the sub's bench. But there is plenty of other local interest. See if you can spot yourself.

Two Lead Adventurers shall die this day!

One shall run away crying and flapping his arms like a girl!

Is it YOU?

(Incidentally, for those trying to fathom them out, two of the characters in this episode are not Lead Adventurers. "Von Hanneken" was C.S. Forester's fictional version of Lettow-Vorbeck, while "Dick Bremerhaven" is a construction of my own, loosely based on Major Richard Meinertzhagen, a real-life bush-fighter, intellgence agent, fraudster and teller of tall tales. He was played by Anthony Andrews in the movie "The Lighthorsemen." Wargamers will probably be most familiar with him from that source.)

Great stuff and a very funny report. This is how a colonial/Pulp game is supposed to be run.

Well done, sir. Alas that Rich will probably take his own, cruel revenge on you on the tabletop at some point. I did enjoy the cameos by all the the Lead Adventurers.

I feel for the British. But it's 1916 and we'll assume the futility of charging emplaced machineguns hasn't quite made it to Africa yet.

What a fitting and heroic end to another noble author. At the rate Polynikes is going, there will be no authors left to write anything by the end of the war.

Great report. It seems that attacks on defenders don't go so well in your games.

Yes, I'm beginning to wonder about that myself. It's either:

a) Sloppy scenario design
b) The players' own stupid fault

I vote b)!!!

I forgot:

c) The Great War was actually like that.

Another good report. Very inspiring as always.
I'm so glad you stay clear of the orient, it means I might get to live a little longer  :)

Yes, so far you've only appeared in a scenario "scene-setting" paragraph, mentioned in passing as a Japanese Light Cruiser. We're going to have to get you actually on to the table somehow at some point...

Picking a Lead Adventure name that is hard to fit into my scenarios is a sure ticket to longevity.

Brigade Games in the USA now produce that kit. It is available from them. For a while you could still get it from HLBSC by asking them nicely (I know of someone who got one from them long after they stopped listing it), but now that Brigade have the rights to it that source may have dried up.

I had a look on their site but when I did 'submarine search' all I got were a couple of ACW subs.Do you know what it's called?
