I think the girls are from Hordes "Circle of Oboros", I'm interested in buying them for quite some time now. There are more different poses and wolf riders I think.

cheers Thomas

Yep. Those and more can be seen here. They work nicely as remote island cultists and such. Fairly affordable on PP scale and nice sculpts too, but was it really necessary to tuck thirty tiger teeth to every model, and put a mile of bandages to every limb with slight mould lines on top?  >:(

Apparently they're getting beaten this time, but at least they went with their boots on.

No, wait...

Anyway, nice to see that there's plenty of love and buzz in this topic.

Great work on both entries, hard choice!

The Girls nicked it for me despite the great level of painting from the Prof.
The look of the leather really came through and I love how very similar the models are painted at the same high standard.

Top from both, had to choose one... o_o

Very nice entries from both. Those are very colorful barbarians and they are going into my painted miniatures from others folder. :-* Thanks

The girls come from Privateer Press - Orboros range - they belong to the Tharn theme. This theme can fairly be use for Hyperborean characters. The males are huge kind of weresomething bersekers, they rip the heart of their ennemies during battle  :D , the girls are dreaful hunteress or witches  lol. Excellent for the northern evil land of Hyperborea.
The poses are quite dynamics for all the range to bring the feeling of savage behaviour.
The sculpt is excellent and full of details, but you will have to take time to put together those multi part minis, and believe me it is quite a pain in the a**. Took me a great deal of stress. But once painted they make lovely ennemies for the cimmerian heroe.
The other quite negative point is the price… They will cost you an arm. But has we say around here - the price will be forgotten when quality stays.

Cheers
