My BMG/other supers thread - new: SMG & other Supers p. 7
« on: February 23, 2010, 02:52:47 PM »
As you may have noticed, I am engaged in a personal challenge to paint one of everything from the Pulp City range. besides that I do have an extensive collection of other supers minis that I have painted over the years, some of which I have started rebasing recently.

This thread is a collection of my 'other' super minis.

My BMG minis start here with the Riddler (click to jump)

First up from Black Hat:

I really like the guy in purple.  Nice job.  I had heard that the Black Hat guys are a little small.  How do they scale up with other ranges?

The six main supers (plus the metlaist above) scale very nicely alongside Superfigs and particularly the Reaper-Chronoscope stuff, as do the competition winners minis (there are 3 of those). So there are 9 figures that scale nicely (including the shrinking mini).

Their civilians are just massive, however, about a full head taller than the supers. I'd also avoid the stretching guy as he is too spindly in my view.

That's right.  It was the civilians I had heard were too big.  Thanks for the info.

Lovely, particularly impressed by the subtle black stripe on the purple trousers,
Extra points for accuracy!

Cheers Jim, and thanks for noticing the stripe. I have seen them done as a white pin-strip, but I went back to the source material (pun intended!) for my inspiration. :)

Cool stuff
I'm guessing Knight Models figures scale well with SuperFigs, I have been looking at KM's henchmen
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.
