Definitely NOT a Gentleman's Conveyance - Steam Carriage
« on: February 27, 2010, 05:03:08 PM »
Having received the wonderful "Brass Coffin" vehicle from Ramshackle Games I decided to tweak it a little for use with my current VSF project.
I have added front ram from a kids train toy, scratchbuilt gas lamps and added a chimney from a Ramshackle Huntsman Spider. The pilot is a converted Black Scorpion cowboy!!!
She ain't pretty but weighing in at over 8 tonnes she can crush zombies with ease....

“Is she not beautiful Sir?” shouted Professor Hinchcliffe above the roar of the massive steam engine.
“Not quite the description I would choose old boy!” I replied, my eyes streaming from the copious amounts of smoke the monstrosity belched forth. The machine was huge and made the ground rumble underfoot like some distant earthquake………..
Extract from Sir Harcourt Rhymes' Journal 27 October 1887

Brilliant! The driver is perfect.

Wouldn't the weight of it crush all the cobblestones?

I’m not sure what I like most about your work, the awesome minis, or the kickass storytelling.

Actually, are you ever, or did you ever, create a longer story of these?

Ahhhhhh, that's why you've been so quiet recently!

Thanks for cheering me up after yet another relentlessly depressing England rugby shambles.

Another superb model to join the others and I wish I'd thought of using that super-cool black and brass theme  :D 8)

I almost feel sorry for the poor old zombies....  ;)

Beautiful paintjob of course, but I'm mostly responding to say how much I like the jewels in the gas lamps.
