Great looking figures. I have a set of these figures, but have not painted them yet. I have them prepped, primed and glued onto bases. So many projects, so little time. ::)
Thanks for sharing.

This Open Sore of The World

David Livingstone.

Spectacular work, Dylan. The guy in the striped shirt looks great, but I really really like the chap with the Zulu shield. He looks kinda stoic in his attitude and ready for everything. Very nice idea. And his face is amazing painting. What did you use for the lower lip colour?

Thanks for showing us the Eureka slaves. They don't look bad at all. Definitely going on the to-buy list.

As with most of the best conversions this is simple yet very effective. Sadly I've already painted my version of this figure, but I'm very tempted to nick your idea and give him a shield, even if it means stripping him down and re-painting  lol

Thanks. Yeah, so simple I don't think it is really even worthy of the term "conversion." All I did was glue a shield to his arm.  lol

Err... Pass. Most probably GW Elf Flesh plus a little bit of GW Dark Flesh, as those were handy from doing his skin.
