Peshooters and pilots
« on: March 06, 2010, 05:23:25 PM »
I couldn´t get away with sunshine, because it´s still snowing all night and day.
The planes are 1/63 scale diecast ready painted models, slightly weathered by me, the pilots are Artizan miniatures:

Are the planes 1/48? If so, they really look good beside these figures.

... and nice work - as usual ;) - Michi

what make are the planes?

They are "Postage stamp model maker planes" collectibles. I got them from fleabay.

Those planes are lovely! Great photos as well. I don't suppose you would be willing to share whatever magic set of keywords you bashed into the fleabay searchbox to find them? My eBay-fu is decidedly weak when looking for nice aircraft.

Those are excellent, the pilots and the planes both - I really like the B&W photos, very atmospheric!

I think I found michi's planes:
1/63 P-26 USA 94th Squadron HO
and
1/63 P-26 USA 19th Squadron HO

Are these the right ones?

Yeah, These are the ones.
I searched for "diecast" and scales from "1/55" to "1/66" step by step...

Necro-ing, but have to reply that is a gorgeous model with even better weathering.
Always did love the look of the peashooter.  Nice stuff. Great pics!
