A "Scorpion King" figure
« on: May 22, 2007, 05:13:26 PM »
I've had a bash at converting a couple of pieces into a figure to loosely represent a 'Scorpion King' for our Pulp Adventure, Carry on up the Nile. I think its a RAFM giant scorpion, can't be sure because I got it ages ago in a small local hobby store, and a Harbinger of something or other from the Wargods range. Its on the Pulp Gallery of my site ~

Have a look if you're interested and don't be too critical, please, modelling not really my forte!

Great conversion. It looks more like how an Egyptian Scorprion King would look in my opinion.

Pretty badass. He doesn't quite look like he wants me to smell what the Rock is cooking, but he looks Egyptian rather than freakishly antediluvian.

I was just watching The Mummy Returns and the Scorpion King over the weekend too!

Good stuff.

I am impressed.  I am reminded of the Scorpion Men from Runequest.
