Excellent idea and great paintjob. I always liked alternate WW2.
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

Nice find, Old Goat ;D

I'm planning for my X-Wing, which is also based on a Spitfire, to also have the engine in the back.

I am looking forward to seing it. Will you convert german planes into some kinds of Tie Fighters and use AT-AT or AT-ST ? I am not joking.

Some inspiration may be :

I knew about the second pic, but didn't see the other one before.
Thanks for sharing :)

There will be definitively a Tiefighter based on a Messerschmidt and an AT-ST, based on the WotC one.
I will not do an AT-AT, though ;)

You're welcome. If you already knew the second one did you see the converted AT-AT models used for this picture ? I didn't find them on internet anymore but I saved photos on my computer : they are impressive conversions with a lot of details.

No, never saw the models.
Could you post a pic of them?

Would love to see them.

Sure, here they are. It's a shame : I can't find the site anymore. If I remember well the guy used the large Kenner AT-AT and many tanks parts but you could do the same with the Revell kit.

I'd seen all those fantastic WWW2 AT-AT pics before, but had always assumed they wer digital manipulations, not based off real models - thats awesome!!!
