Long time no update, but here it comes. Just finished varnishing the latest addition, a unit of handgunners.

If you want to know more (and view more pictures, of course), please head over to my blog. Thanks for watching! :)

the impetus bases are quite clever. Such a pity that you have to adopt them exclusively for that kind of games! :(

Actually, you don't have to. :o
I'm more than willing to play any ruleset with this army (if it ever gets finished ::) ). It's simply down to your opponent, and I myself would never bother with rule lawyers.

Excellent work Mad Doc
I'm going to have a good look at the blog now
Didn't have the courage to base my own arab and crusader armies like this, went for 6x6cms which will allow me 1/2 sized Impetus bases as I've been happily painting to date with no real commitment to a specific rule set yet

I like what you have done with the themed bases. How about a picture of all three together so we can get an idea of how a massive army will look?

Many thanks for the comments, everyone! :)

Sure, if it ever grows to full army-size. :D By now and according to the list I'm using there are still 4 bases to be added. Unfortunately, these are all big units in dense formation, so I have to purchase (and paint, of course!) quite a few models beforehand. Therefore, please don't hold your breath for an 'army shot' to appear.
