Gothic Horror in 15mm
« on: March 29, 2010, 10:25:02 PM »
What figures?

We have zombies and cultists and ghouls and werewolves from Rebel Minis, mummies from Magister, what else?

Is Smokey gonna have to get in the miniatures business to get some horror figures on the market?

a lot of the monster figures from 25mm would still work as scarier versions in 15mm, dark young, flying polyps, gods, formless spawns.

Oh Yes.   :D

I ought to get some Action shots of the Reaper Cthulhu mini with some of my 20mm investigators.

Dang, Manic.  That's just evil looking!   ;)

I got the Khurasan "Horror of Clambake Beach" monsters.  They are perfect looking "Guy in rubber suit in 50's horror movie" figures.

Doubt they will scare anyone as "Deep Ones", but too pretty to pass up.

East Riding Miniatures do vampire, wraith and ghoul types in their fantasy personailty range:-

and zombies, wraiths and werewolves in their undead range:-

I don\'t know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

Cheers Smokeyrone.

ERM (Tony Barr) is certainly a good guy - very helpful.

May have to.  I'll talk to rebel mike and get some pointers, quit the day job, and have at it.  (or should I have at it, and then quit the day job if it works?)

 :D

BTW Pole Bitwy has some new 15mm cultists and zombies/infected humans.  Nice.

(I'll get link)

I could have sworn there was something about the original Call of Cthulhu figures being 15mm.  It might have been on this board actually.  Something about the figures matching on of the HO scales.

Oh please!   Where to verify that, I wonder?

Khurasan miniatures make some of the best looking 15mm zombies and vampires. The pack of the 3 Adventurers are great too. Link:

There is a new American company, which makes 15mm fantasy figures called Splintered Light Miniatures. They have a number of gothic looking figures.

Vampires, ghosts, ghouls, and zombies.

Wolf hounds & Wolves.

Bat and Raven swarms.

And a cool witch hunter character figure.

Fantastic!   :D

They have a Farfhrd and Grey Mouser set.  For 15mm figures I'm quite impressed.  Looks like they've got the horror range mostly covered.  In the sci fi section they've got a armed and unarmed group of 'space crews'.  They look perfect for pulp or horror gaming.
