He looks good. I'm using Foundry storm green for mine. I initially went with a similar colour for the webbing which was darker than western front webbing but I've decided to stay with drab like the rest of my British for a bit of contrast.
(You know my views on WWII uniform colours    )

I thought to take Storm Green as well but that's too vivid to me :)

Is he a Foundry?  What green did you use as the base colour?

my test-painting-chindit, i've read/seen the green of their uniform was more green-grey, and that's my interpretation. What do you think about?

When I look at various WWII Pacific Theatre flicks (Thin Red Line, Flag of Our Fathers, The Bridge over the River Kwai..." and the few colour photographs I have (Time Life series) it loogs to me like they are wearing a pretty solid jungle green faded to grey green.

As always I think it is the "faded" part that is hardest to capture but you are close.

If you're after aircraft for Burma then I'd go for a Hurricane. Airfix do (did?) a nice sturdy kit in 1/48 although if was a Mark I not a Mark II. You can probably pick one up on ebay.

And if you're doing Burma, especially the Arakan, you can't leave out a Lee/Grant!  I'm sure Solido do one although it'll probably cost you a fortune to get hold of one.

I think you're Chindit is spot on BTW...just the right degree of fade on the battledress. Excellent!

I think there must be a 1/48 die cast Hurricane somewhere.  I recall seeing it in a shop.

I had a look on ebay and found a few of the Airfix Hurricane kits but also ran into this Monogram one, which would be perfect with some SE Asia roundels as a Hurribomber:

And this guy has some Solido Verem Lee / Grants up for grabs although they're a bit pricey and would need a bit of a 'makeover' to look good next to the Corgi vehicles:
