Skrapwelder,
My good Stalinist communist figures will crush you Trotskyites.. lol ;)., I am fielding the Central California Communist Party (CCCP).   Nicknamed the CalRed.  Our leaders are code named Zinfindel, Merlot, and Port.

BTW those figures look like they will work great.

Great ideas.

When I visited Frida Kahlo's house in the late nineties I was amazed there was this sketch of a portrait of Joseph Stalin prominently in her painting studio...

What I've done while waiting for my troops to show up in the mail. It gives a good likeness .I'm not 100% happy with the proportions but it will serve. I need to make some grillwork for the headlights and do a little work on the suspension and then I'll be ready to paint it.

The next vehicle I'll be doing will be a motorcycle and sidecar for Frida.

Very nice indeed, Skrap. Any thoughts on a color scheme yet?

Thanks, I'm thinking  panzer grey with prominent Forth International symbolism. A white Hammer and sickle with a numeral 4 overlaid in a red field.

I'm not. Remarkably fluid in her political allegiances, Ms Kahlo. Still I enjoyed the joint exhibition they staged of her work in the Moneda cultural centre last year. Santiago is a dull city for the most part and it killed a Monday morning when just about every other Museum is closed.

Allright, you lot! If we're doing artistic icons with a Mexican Interwar connection, I want someone to sculpt a figure of Hugh Firmin to bravely lead any izquierdistas that I paint. (His brother, Geoffrey is not really that useful, is he?)

Y oyen, senores y senoritas, miren a esto.

Nice looking army forming here.
